GlobalSCAPE to release enhanced Mail Express offering

CBR Staff Writer Published 12 August 2010

Provides secured file sharing between users

GlobalSCAPE, a developer of secure information exchange solutions, will release its new Mail Express offering, which improves end user and IT admin productivity by enhancing the secure exchange of email files.

The new Mail Express enables Microsoft Outlook email users to send and receive files on demand and allows users to send files up to 25GB, without resorting to unapproved and non-secure methods including private email accounts, social media sites, CDs, and USB drives.

The company said that the new offering provides efficient visibility into email-based file movement across the enterprise, including tracking and auditing, allows centralized policy management, and reduces costs by offloading expensive email attachments to less expensive storage.

In addition, the new offering also includes: enhanced Microsoft Outlook user experience and conveniences; two-way file sharing and collaboration; efficient workflow in user interface and deployment process; and regulatory compliance and governance.

GlobalSCAPE president and CEO Jim Morris said that the new generation of Mail Express will simplify secure file sharing between employees, customers, and partners.

"The product will continue the company's tradition of providing offerings that not only connect systems, but connect people," Morris said.
