Fortinet, a provider of unified threat management solutions, and Dimension Data, a provider of IT services, have signed a global agreement whereby Dimension Data will integrate, install and provide consultancy services for Fortinet's network security solutions to enterprises worldwide.
The new partnership combines a security platform with Dimension Data's integration capabilities, which will decrease clients' time- and cost-to-market in creating secure infrastructures.
This agreement with Dimension Data, operating in 47 countries across five continents, marks Fortinet's deepest and broadest global systems integrator partnership. Fortinet's proven technology, R&D capabilities and market leadership in unified threat management (UTM), when combined with Dimension Data's global capabilities in consulting, integration and support, will enable Dimension Data to continue to deliver security solutions to the market, said Fortinet.
Neil Campbell, managing director of global security line of business at Dimension Data, said: We are seeing this growth trend among our large global client base as integrated security appliances address key frustrations experienced by users of point security products or single-function appliances. Many enterprise clients are migrating from firewall-only platforms to integrated security offerings combining multiple applications and services in an effort to enhance and improve overall security and performance while reducing cost and complexity.
Ken Xie, president, founder and CEO of Fortinet, said: We are extremely pleased to share the global network security stage with Dimension Data. As we continue our penetration as a world-class network security provider, it's imperative that we work with respected and trusted partners who maintain a strong global footprint as Dimension Data does. We believe clients worldwide will gain an extra measure of confidence in building their security infrastructure through our partnership.
