Caxa selects Aladdin HASP SRM to secure product design

CBR Staff Writer Published 27 January 2009

China-based Caxa, a developer of software for collaborative data management, has selected Aladdin HASP SRM system from Aladdin Knowledge Systems, a provider of information security, to secure its product design and lifecycle management software.

Aladdin HASP SRM is reportedly a fully-integrated software- and hardware-based software protection and licensing system, which provides Caxa a secure system for protecting, managing and deploying its products.

Aladdin claims that HASP has enabled Caxa to create new business models for its software to reach a wider market and improve customer satisfaction.

Yu Ling, vice president of Caxa, said: HASP offers us security and stabilization. We have already seen a 30% increase in the number of licenses purchased, and we have reduced our time spent updating licenses by 60% with Aladdin HASP SRM.

Laila Arad-Allan, vice president of the software DRM business unit at Aladdin Knowledge Systems, said: We've seen tremendous growth in the Chinese market for software protection and licensing solutions and we anticipate this demand to increase as other organizations witness the success of companies like Caxa who are increasing revenues and reducing costs as a result of implementing HASP SRM.
